Vampires in our midst

These people have to be vampires. There is no other explanation.

  1. "Nobody's Fault But My Own" sort of reeks of Edward's self-disgust and belief in his eternal monsterism. "Already Dead" could be sung by Edward during the separation in "New Moon." And Bella and Edward do sort of defy the logic of "Sexx Laws." But check out this excerpt from "Summer Girl":

And I know I'm gonna steal her eye
She doesn't even know it's wrong
And you know I'm gonna make her die
Take her where her soul belongs
Know I'm gonna steal her eye
    Nothing that I wouldn't try

But I think these lyrics are more menacing out of context than they are in the actual tone of the song.

In general, Beck's lyrics are so eclectic that no mere mortals can truly understand what they are about. Clearly he is a vampire who sees the world in different colors.

  2. I think that "Volcano" could be a New Moon Duet.

    [Edward]
I've been walking on these streets so long
I don't know where they're going to lead anymore
    [Bella]
But I think I must have seen a ghost
I don't know if it's my illusions that keep me alive

    I don't know what I've seen
    Is it all an illusion
    Or a mirage gone bad?
    [Edward]
    I'm tired of Evil
    And all that it feeds
    But I don't know

    [Bella]
And I've been drifting on this wave so long
I don't know if its already crashed on the shore...

    [Bella and Edward]

    I don't know If I'm sane
But there's a ghost In my heart
That's trying To see in the dark
    I'm tired of people
Who only want To be pleased
But I still want To please you

    [Bella]
    I've been drinking
    All these tears so long
    All I've got left
    Is the taste of salt
    In my mouth

    hhhhhhhhhhhh
